Brand identity and logo design for Ecuadorian farm and eco-lodge Finca Aveterra. Roughly translated as 'bird-land', Aveterra offers a unique experience for visitors that aims to integrate sustainable agricultural practice with eco-tourism. The images below show the results of the branding process, which took the violet-tailed sylph, a beautiful hummingbird native to the region, as its core graphic. The bird inspired the colour palette for the brand identity, as well as the logo designs. A trio of bird illustrations were created, alongside a type-based brand mark, to offer a flexible and unique identity that paid tribute to the wildlife local to the farm.
